Nesting Box for Wood Ducks and Other Cavity Nesting Ducks
such as goldeneyes, mergansers, mandarins, and buffleheads.
Cavity nesters commonly build their nests in abandoned woodpecker holes and other holes in trees but are unable to build their own cavity.
They will however readily adapt to man made nesting boxes.
Made from 7/8 inch-thick long lasting southern yellow pine (SYP) and assembled with ceramic coated screws, they will provide many years of service for generation after generation of ducks. A strong easy open-close mechanical latch secures the inspection door.
