This early 1900s / antique souvenir lidded stein from Atlantic City, New Jersey is very, very nice - height is 6 1/4 inches (not counting pewter lid);  embossed in cream colored lettering on a dark green background: ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. and under this lettering, all embossed, are pictures of buildings, hotels, the beach and boardwalk filled with people - the colors are beautiful;  the lid is tight and fits very well;  the base is marked GERMANY;  the pewter lid has very fancy embossing; a very heavy stein;  excellent condition - NO chips, cracks, etc. - there is just a tiny bit of high point on left side that shows people in the water;  please do an enlargement of the SIX eBay photos to get a good view of the fine detail in this stein.
