Magnificent Large Japanese Meiji Presentation Satsuma Box. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Meiji period (1868-1912) Japanese rare magnificent presentation large satsuma lidded box on three legs, made and signed by Yoshi over the center of the bottom. The box is finely decorated with a beautiful scene of five birds seated among the grass and bushes next to the creek and surrounded with the gorgeous flower blossoms. There is a presentation signature addressed to American diplomats. The sides of the box are finely decorated with bamboo and leaves. The interior of the lid and box also has floral decorations.
