The "Stubborn" knife was made by the outstanding Russian craftsman Mr. Gennady Dedyukhin known all over the World.
This “INSANE" MASTER made his first knives at the age of 12 from engine valves by heating steel in a village bathhouse! Now G.Dedyukhin is 37 years old. Thus, this master has been making knives for 25 YEARS! Do you think there is anyone in the World who forged their first knife at the age of 12? So, I think, there are no such people, therefore, I KNOW that there is no better master (at least in Russia) yet!

. Knives differ in the materials used in the manufacture of the handles and the geometry of the blade. Along the butt, at the base of the blade, a notch is made for a comfortable grip on the knife handle.
The product is made of premium stainless powder steel of the metallurgical concern Bohler-Uddeholm, grade M390. The steel grade is indicated on the blade, which is a guarantee of the use of this material in the manufacture of a knife. All knives are made by hand by a master, and heat treatment and hardening are performed with cryo-treatment in strict accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations for 62-63 HRC hardness on the Rockwell scale. As indicated by the metal manufacturer, after 60 HRC - the hardness of the metal - and above this value, the metal cuts and scratches the glass and, at the declared hardness, remains ductile to chipping!
The knife is suitable both for everyday use at home and for outdoor trips, for field kitchen and barbecue. On the knife there is a squeeze of the handle shank for better balance during work.
Mounting the knife - rider, the handle is made of micarta, which fits perfectly into the concept of the knife, provides excellent retention and resistance to aggressive environments.
On the scabbard there is the stigma "USA / Market" confirming that this knife was made by a craftsman for sale in the USA market, selected from the entire batch and pick up as the Best. In this case, it will not have ANY manufacturing flaws!
The earmark "М390" on one side of the blade, and the mark of the master's "D", guarantees you that the master used EXACTLY STEEL "М390" in the making of this knife and performed all steel hardening cycles recommended by the manufacturer of steel – the Bohler-Uddeholm.
