Detailed fine paintings in gold - each side is different - wonderful!
The lid has 4 people putting objects in a box or trunk
One side has seated musicians; the other looks like serving tea
The front has more musicians and a brass escutcheon - no key
The back has fan or umbrella dancers
The delightful box measures 4.5 inches x 3.25 inches x 2.75 inches
A slot - perhaps to turn this into a small bank - is cut into one side
Scrapings along the edges, darkening of the painted scenes, tin has oxidation
