    ANHEUSER BUSCH COLLECTORS CLUB "HISTORICAL ADVERTISING 1936" STEIN
    This 10" lidded stein was made in Brazil by Ceramarte. Celebrating the history of Anheuser-Busch's advertising, this stein features the brewery's 1936 "Make This Test" ad. This campaign challenged beer drinkers to try Budweiser ® for five days, versus the sweeter style beers, prohibition bootleggers had popularized. The ads were such a success, the brewery and Budweiser ® soon became industry leaders, a position they still hold today. The pewter lid features a raised 4-sided 1 1/4" tall ceramic triangle with an A&Eagle ® on each side. The pewter thumbrest has the dates 1876 and 1936.
